It has both, a hammer setting allowing you to drill into concrete and masonry, as well as two gears for controlled drilling and screwdriving. The first, low-speed gear is for controlled screwdriving, and the second, faster gear is for drilling into wood and steel.

Patented Head Change The product features a patented ‘head change’ mechanism. It can be converted from a drill driver into a Impact Driver. The drill has to be bought separately.
